Hi, I’m Alexa!
I’ve been practicing Yoga for over a decade. My love for the practice and desire to share this way of life is what called me to begin teaching.
I first fell in love with yoga after recognizing the effect that it had on my mental and physical athletic performance, especially as a former Division I athlete. However, it wasn’t long before I noticed how Yoga grew to affect all parts of my life, both on and off the mat.
Yoga is more than a practice - it’s a journey home.
My vision is to create a world where every person feels at home within themselves; Empowered by yoga, supported by community, and grounded in self-compassion.
My mission, my purpose, is to help you return to yourself; to create a sanctuary within that honors and loves all parts of you.
I am passionate about helping others appreciate and reconnect with their bodies. With a focus on self-compassion and gratitude, I aim to guide others (and myself!) on a journey of personal growth while appreciating the joys of everyday life.
Through mindful movement, breath, and social connection, Yoga has helped me to realize that home is not really a location, but a place inside each of us.
By embracing this crazy, very human, adventure that we call life, we can all make homes within ourselves, and Yoga gives us the space to be able to do so.
My Method
I listen. Yoga is a way of living, and it looks different from person to person.
We’re honest. With ourselves and with one another.
You leave empowered. I’ll always give you the tools to do this work yourself, whether that’s a sequence to take home or a video to revisit, so you can create the changes you desire.
Fun is fun. Joy, laughter, and play are honored and encouraged.
